WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You will be reporting directly to our Logistics Supervisor
You will ensure that orders are appropriately loaded in the trailer. This includes the inspection of trailer and coordinating appropriate instructions to the driver.
You will ensure all raw material received is verified by physical count and inspection and that they conform to purchase orders
You will be responsible for keeping track of stock that moves in and out of the warehouse.
You are expected to be able to drive a forklift to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locations.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
You have completed Grade 12 or High School. Related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
You have knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and terms, International will be an asset
You are able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
You have good and basic mathematical skills
You are able to work collaboratively with others to achieve department and company goals
You are able to plan and organize your work
You are able to demonstrate concern for thoroughness and accuracy
You are able to operate a Forklift
You have basic computer skills and able to operate MS Outlook, Word and Excel
