Kryton CEO Kari Yuers Honored with Prestigious ACI International Award

We’re proud to announce that Kari Yuers, FACI, President & CEO of Kryton International Inc., has been selected to receive the Michel Bakhoum International Collaboration Award from the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

This highly regarded award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing ACI’s international initiatives and promoting global knowledge transfer to improve the durability and sustainability of concrete.

With over three decades of dedication to concrete innovation, Kari continues to lead Kryton — and the industry — with a vision rooted in technical excellence, collaboration, and long-term impact.

Kari’s Contributions to ACI Include:

• Chair and active member of multiple ACI committees, including 212 (Chemical Admixtures) and E701 (Materials for Concrete Construction)

• Document Chair for the ACI Education Bulletin E4-22 on Chemical Admixtures

• Two-time Chair of the ACI International Advisory Committee (2010–2013 and 2020–2023)

• Past Chair of the ACI Convention Committee and other key leadership roles

Kari will officially receive the award at the ACI Fall Convention on October 26 in Baltimore, Maryland, but her achievements are already being celebrated in the current issue of Concrete International magazine.
