Kryton International Inc. acquired Calgary-based Cementec Industries Inc., a manufacturer of concrete additive solutions. Hard-Cem®, the integral concrete hardening admixture developed by Cementec, provides concrete with resistance to abrasion and erosion. With this admixture, concrete floors and infrastructure can last up to six times longer than untreated concrete. Cementec also manufactures silica fume products that are used to density and strengthen concrete. These Cementec solutions can be used in conjunction with Kryton’s Krystol Internal Membrane™ (KIM®) system.
