THE OPPORTUNITY

Kryton International, a highly respected global innovator in concrete waterproofing and durability solutions, is seeking an experienced HEAD OF FINANCE to lead our Finance function. This full-time, permanent, on-site leadership role oversees financial operations, reporting, systems, controls, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, compliance, and strategic financial planning across the Kryton Group of Companies. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Head of Finance leads the Finance team and provides financial insight and recommendations to support sustainable global growth.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a strategic, hands-on finance leader who combines strong operational accounting expertise with business partnership and people leadership. You are comfortable working across multiple entities and international operations, improving ERP and reporting systems, strengthening controls, and translating financial information into clear recommendations. You lead with accountability, communicate effectively, and look for practical ways to improve financial visibility, efficiency, and scalability.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning: Lead accounting and financial operations across the Kryton Group; oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, analysis, and financial reporting; and provide strategic recommendations to the President & CEO and Leadership Team.
• Team Leadership & Operational Accounting: Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team; oversee performance and cross-training; and ensure effective AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, governance, and internal controls.
• Financial Systems, ERP & Process Improvement: Improve ERP utilization, reporting tools, dashboards, KPI tracking, workflows, automation, and standardized finance practices; support system upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Global Finance, Compliance & Risk: Oversee multi-company and international finance activities, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, foreign exchange, treasury, banking, audit coordination, tax and regulatory requirements, and financial risk management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: CPA designation required (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA), with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least five (5) years leading Finance and Accounting teams; global or multi-entity experience required.
• Finance Leadership: Strong operational accounting and strategic finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, financial reporting, internal controls, and business planning.
• ERP & Process Improvement: Experience leading ERP improvements, financial systems optimization, reporting enhancements, automation, or process transformation.
• Technology & Analysis: Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills; strong experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, financial dashboards, KPI reporting, and business analytics.
• Additional Assets: Manufacturing, distribution, or international operations experience; knowledge of foreign exchange, treasury, and international finance operations.
• Work requirements: Available to work on-site Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 5 kg.
