 THE OPPORTUNITY

Kryton International, a highly respected and successful world innovator in concrete waterproofing and durability solutions, is seeking an additional member to their Sales Department. We are looking for a new TERRITORY MANAGER – WESTERN CHINA based in Chongqing or Chengdu, China and flexible to travel to Beijing from time to time. We are seeking a high performing Territory Manager who can help us increase and grow our Western China market.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Territory Manager brings Strategic expertise in developing a Sales Channel in an assigned territory in China – Western region.  As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow the territory, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers and managing sales processes of the assigned territory.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Territory Manager – Western China will be responsible for expanding Sales Channel in the assigned territory, develop strategic plans to expand Kryton Sales Channels, train, develop and support existing Kryton Distributors and attend industry events in the territory among many others. The Territory Manager – Western China will also be managing a complex Sales Cycle unique to the Company as well as secure specifications for Kryton Products with our key audiences.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 2 – 5+ years’ experience in an outside B2B sales position, preferably within building material, design institute or construction industry.
  • Education: Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce or International Trade is desirable.
  • Must be based in Chongqing or Chengdu, China
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to adapt their communication style to the targeted audience and develop strong relationships.
  • Confident, outgoing, logic thinking, integrity with a strong Customer Service orientation.
  • Competitive, entrepreneurial and results driven.
  • Self-motivated within a Team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with technical products and services.
  • Software Skills: MS Office Suite, Salesforce, Lead Databases (CMD Insight or Dodge)
  • Ability to read and understand architecture drawings
  • Ability to win the project independently
  • Familiar with China construction industry code.
  • Ability to identify the customer concerns and build relationship with target audience in a quick way.
  • Can adapt to flexible working time if needed. E.g., night or vacation
  • Can work in a tough and complex working environment, e.g., construction job site.
  • Can afford at least 40% days/month for travel
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
