Application Instructions

Horizontal Joints in Shotcrete Walls - Treatment only

Application Instructions:

  1. Apply Krystol Waterstop Treatment™ coat to the intended joint area of the existing concrete using a concrete brush. Employ a circular, scrubbing motion so as to achieve maximum adhesion and penetration.
  2. Treatment must not be allowed to set up hard before subsequent layer of shotcrete is shot onto it.  Subsequent layer of shotcrete must be shot within ½ hour of Treatment application.

Note: Surfaces to be treated must be pre-wet to a saturated-surface-dry (SSD) condition. Do not leave any standing water.
