Other Krystol™ Waterproofing Projects
Ocean Construction, Pipe Plant
British Columbia, Canada
BACKGROUND
An equipment room, built at the edge of the Fraser River was constructed 17-feet below the water table. Hydrostatic pressure forced water to seep in through the concrete and fill the room with water. On two separate occasions the room was excavated and attempts were made to waterproof from the outside but as soon as the backfill was replaced and pumps removed water returned to fill the room.
SOLUTION
Kryton International Inc. undertook the project, guaranteeing 100% success or free labour. KRYSTOL T1 and KRYSTOL GROUT were applied to the sealing strips and the walls were coated with KRYSTOL T1 and T2. No further leakage has occurred.
