Bode's Precast Water And Septic Tanks
Lynden, Washington, USA

BACKGROUND
Bode's Precast Inc. is a precast concrete manufacturer of septic tanks, drinking water containment tanks and tanks specifically for the agricultural sector. Their products are widely used by residential and commercial contractors and owners throughout the Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties of Washington State, USA.

Containment tanks are built in sizes ranging from 1250 gallons to 1750 gallons for both potable water containment and also to effectively waterproof septic tanks where Health Department requires protection from septic leaching.

SOLUTION
Bode's Precast has been utilizing KIM within their precast water containment tanks for approximately 4 years with excellent results. In wet areas where potable water contamination from the ground is a concern and in regions where drinking water is in short supply, the waterproofing ability of KIM concrete is providing significant benefit.

The self-healing charactistics of KIM have been witnessed by customers and are particularly impressive to Bode's Precast. In cases where the ground has shifted or cracks developed during installation, witnesses have noted that leaks have stopped entirely within days.
