How It Works

Krystol T1 is applied to the concrete first, followed by curing and then Krystol T2. The two react chemically within concrete to form billions of crystals that block the pores, voids and cracks in concrete. Pre-saturation and subsequent re-wetting of the concrete surface will cause deeper diffusion of the chemicals and formation of crystals. When new cracks form and water is introduced, the crystals are reactivated, sealing new cracks.

Where It's Used

Krystol T1 & Krystol T2 are warranted for use in place of conventional waterproofing systems. It can be used in recently poured or decades old concrete. Some of it's recommended uses are in concrete foundations and walls, elevated slabs and ramps, parking structures, water towers and bridge decks.

Kryton has successfully used Krystol T1 & T2 in hundreds of projects including the Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort Hotel in Malaysia.
