The Challenges of Hot Weather Concreting
When placing concrete in hot weather i.e. above 24º C (75ºF), high temperatures, low humidity and drying winds can accelerate water loss, drying and setting, which can cause reduced concrete strength, shrinkage, cracking and finishing difficulties. Placing and finishing concrete during hot, dry weather requires special care to ensure optimal results. more
